The new single from Roxanne de Bastion is a great track called ‘Ordinary Love’. It’s a song that the artist herself describes as joyous, which comes through in her addictive melodies, soaring harmonies and jangling guitar work. The unique guitar tone comes from Bernard Butler, who plays a 12-string Gibson that Johnny Marr himself provided. The instrument is complemented by the warmth of 70s production and the psychedelic folk influences on the track. It is accompanied by a unique visualiser and comes from her upcoming album, You & Me, We Are The Same, which drops on September 3^rd, 2021. -Dan Peeke
